Our Village Ethos

We believe that a village pub should be a facility that welcomes every member of a village and creates a hub for a community.

To that end, here are some of the examples of what we offer already, and hope to be able to expand on in the future!

Dog Friendly

Our tap room bar, separate from our restaurant, welcomes walkers, bikers and four-legged friends. We always keep a stock of treats for furry companions on the bar!

We are pleased to be able to offer you a venue for birthdays, celebrations and wakes. We can provide customized buffet's and are proud to offer quality home-produced food on such occasions.

We can accommodate up to 100 for private buffet functions, or 40 for seated occasions. Just give us a call to discuss your individual requirements.

Coming Soon ...

Village Shop

We are currently working our little socks off on Monday closures to finish preparatory work towards opening a village shop at the pub. With the loss of the Draycott Post Office, we feel the village could benefit from somewhere for basic supplies!

We hope to be able to offer a small selection of newspapers, milk, bread, vegetables and other basic supplies and a variety of dry goods, but essentially we want you to tell us what you want. So if you get chance to stop by and give us some ideas, we would be delighted to hear them!

B & B

More a dream than a reality at present....

Art Work

We are proud to be able to display the work of local artists Alan Savage & Jackie Knott already, but we would be delighted to welcome others to display their work (for sale if they wish). We don't want any commision, we just like to have interesting pieces on our walls and to see them change occasionally!

Even if you just have that one piece you are proud of and want to show off - please drop in!
